Chairs personal goals for New
Jerseys new state workforce investment system
"In creating Workforce Investment Boards in 1995, Governor Whitman made New Jersey a
national leader by anticipating the broad outlines of the Workforce Investment Act.
Now, this new federal legislation creates an enormous opportunity for us to decisively
change the way New Jersey delivers employment, education and training services."
